Welcome to Fix My Couch! These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (https://fixmycouch.com) and the furniture repair, restoration, and upholstery services provided by Fix My Couch.

By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not access or use our services.

1. Services Provided

Fix My Couch specializes in furniture restoration, including but not limited to:

• Leather and vinyl repair
• Fabric sofa repair and full reupholstery
• Furniture frame, spring, and structural repairs
• Sofa foam replacement and cushion refilling
• Recliner chair repair and seam stitching
• Residential and commercial upholstery solutions

All services are subject to availability, material stock, and initial inspection.

2. Quotes, Orders & Scope of Work

• Quotations: Estimates provided via our online form, email, or WhatsApp are initial quotes based on customer-provided information and images. Final pricing may be revised upon physical inspection of the furniture if undisclosed damage or structural issues are discovered.
• Order Acceptance: Work will commence only after the client approves the formal quotation and pays the required deposit.
• Customer-Supplied Fabric: If a client provides their own fabric/materials, Fix My Couch is not liable for fabric flaws, wear-and-tear suitability, or shortages in fabric quantity.

3. Pickup, Delivery & Logistics

• Free Pick-up & Delivery: We offer complimentary pickup and delivery for eligible services across Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman.
• Access & Site Readiness: Customers must ensure reasonable access for our pickup team (e.g., elevator access, building permits, clear pathways). Any building gate passes or entry permissions required in residential communities or commercial buildings are the sole responsibility of the customer.
• Delivery Timelines: Turnaround times communicated are estimates. Fix My Couch is not liable for minor delays caused by custom fabric imports, supplier delays, or public holidays.

4. Payment Terms

• Deposits: A deposit (typically 30%–50%) is required upon booking confirmation before materials are cut or work begins.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance is strictly due upon completion and prior to or at the time of final delivery.
• Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Credit/Debit Cards, and Bank Transfers.

5. Workmanship Warranty & Inspection

• Warranty: We provide a 12-month limited warranty on workmanship (stitching, structural frame repairs, and craftsmanship).
• Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, stains, pet scratches, improper cleaning damage, or customer-supplied fabrics.
• Inspection upon Delivery: Clients are requested to inspect their restored furniture upon delivery. Claims regarding visible defects must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Service Cancellations: Bookings can be canceled up to 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup.
• Custom Material Orders: Once fabric cutting or custom material ordering has commenced, deposits become non-refundable to cover material and labor costs incurred.

7. Intellectual Property & Media Release

All content, logos, text, graphics, and images on fixmycouch.com are the property of Fix My Couch. Unless requested otherwise in writing prior to pickup, Fix My Couch reserves the right to take and use anonymous “Before & After” photos of completed work for portfolio purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Fix My Couch shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service provided.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the local laws of the Emirate of Dubai.
